Dr. Subramani’s Medical Approach

Vishnu Subramani’s patient-centric approach to improving outcomes involves providing innovative and empathetic care practices. Having struggled with weight issues himself in the past, Dr. Subramani understands the challenges his patients face. He has lived in their shoes and space, which allows him to provide a different level of care in treating obesity.

His empathetic and holistic approach has enabled Dr. Subramani to make great strides in treating obesity. He recognizes the multidimensional nature of health, looking at each patient’s medical history, lifestyle, and other factors to help them achieve weight loss and improve their overall health. For example, for many individuals, obesity brings complicated health issues, which Dr. Subramani can help treat and manage, such as metabolic syndrome, high cholesterol, high blood pressure, stroke, heart disease, liver disease, and sleep disorders.

Gut health is also an important aspect of overall health and well-being. He works with patients to improve their gut health by lowering stress levels, prioritizing sleep, staying hydrated, adding prebiotics or probiotics to their diet, checking for food intolerances, and making dietary changes.

Hormonal changes also affect one’s weight. Dr. Subramani will evaluate a patient to identify possible contributors to conditions such as obesity or weight loss, joint pain, diabetes, heart disease, osteoporosis, and others. This includes hyperthyroidism, hypothyroidism, low testosterone, chronic fatigue syndrome, Hashimoto’s disease, and hormonal imbalance.

A Track Record of Success in His Approach

For over two decades, he has helped his patients achieve life-altering results. One patient lost 60 lbs. safely in 10 months, saying, “I could not have done it without the support of Dr. Subramani and my family. There is still a long way to go but I have to say, I am loving these results. So, if you're looking to lose weight safely. Dr. Subramani is your guy!”

Another patient wrote about her experience, saying, “Dr. Subramani was warm and caring with an attentive spirit. He did a blood work panel and diagnosed me with Hashimoto disease, which is a thyroid condition/autoimmune disease. No one else caught this in my blood work. So I am now on a gluten-free diet working towards healing my thyroid condition and weight loss. I started at 260 lbs. and am now at 226 lbs.”
